Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Assists the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care as directed by the RN.
High School Diploma or GED minimum Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association) A minimum of one year of licensed CNA work experience in a skilled nursing facility; or a minimum of 6 months of PCT (Patient Care Tech)/CNA work experience in a hospital; or in lieu of experience may have completed approved CNA school (with clinicals); or nursing student with completion of Nursing Fundamentals Extended new hire training and new hire department orientation is available for new Florida licensed CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant with no experience yet Ability to work Full time hours is a plus!
