About the role

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) supports nursing staff by providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in Pre-Op and PACU. Responsibilities include assisting with patient mobility, vital signs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

What you’ll do
Assist with the flowAssist with the flow of patients from the waiting area to exam rooms across various departments
Transport patients using wheelchairsTransport patients using wheelchairs or walkers as needed and assist with personal medical needs
Recognize, report, and respondRecognize, report, and respond appropriately to actual or potential emergency situations
Assist patients with ActivitiesAssist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring, repositioning, and mobility
Collect and label specimenCollect and label specimen, such as blood and urine, for laboratory testing under proper supervision
