Will consider two years as a certified nursing assistant or patient care tech in lieu of education. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants, Certified Nurse Assistant through the Louisiana State Department of Health, or Certified Patient Care Technician/Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant through the National Health Careers Association Basic Life Support Health Care Provider through the American Heart Association Non-Violent Crisis Prevention through the Crisis Prevention Institute.
