and Responsibilities As our Patient Sitter, you will help provide supportive care to an assigned patient to assure a safe environment for patients who may be deemed a potential safety risk. To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be listed on a Nurse Assistant Registry (or obtain placement immediately after orientation), possess good communication and interpersonal skills, be able to organize assignments and work under pressure, and obtain Basic Life Support Certification within the orientation period.
