Franciscan Health Crown Point 12750 S Francis Dr Crown Point, Indiana 46307 The Patient Companion is a role within Franciscan which reviews and follows patient care instructions provided by charge nurse/nursing professional, clarifies any patient questions, monitors the patient, and notifies nursing staff of the need for patient assistance or when leaving patient's bedside. Your role is critical in reporting pertinent patient information and changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.

Report to assigned nurse or Charge Nurse if any significant problems arise. Assure proper confidentiality of patient. Attentive to patient to help avoid tubes or equipment from being removed.
Primary focus is maintained for the patient. Personal activities may be performed. We have a part-time (24 hours/week) night shift opportunity available.
