About the role

The Patient Flow Director is responsible for coordinating patient placement for Kent Hospital. This includes coordination and communication with key personnel and departments such as: Nursing, EVS, transport, and staffing.

What you’ll do
Rounding on the unitsRounding on the units and assisting to facilitate timely discharges and assess patient flow issues
Provide clinical guidance onProvide clinical guidance on patient placement according to unit specific admission criteria
Communication among nursing unitsCommunication among nursing units regarding admissions, discharges, and transfers
Communication with physicians, nursingCommunication with physicians, nursing, and administration during times of high census
Facilitation of the daily bed meeting at 830 Monday through Friday
