You’ll need
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Qualifications
✓Three to six months in a medical and/or customer service setting
✓Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English
Six months to one year in a medical and/or customer service setting preferred
Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English preferred
Core Job Responsibilities preferred
Possess excellent customer service skills preferred
Function effectively in stressful and demanding conditions preferred
Demonstrate impeccable interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills preferred
Escorts patients to designated areas in a punctual and timely manner preferred
Respects and protects patient confidence and hospital confidentiality by keeping all sensitive and patient information private preferred
Ability to work effectively within role independently and with other team members preferred
Educate assigned volunteers on all Patient Escort responsibilities preferred
Serve as a liaison between Patient Access and receiving modality preferred
Other duties as assigned preferred
