Education
✓High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
✓Associate degree
Associate’s degree preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum of Two (2) or more years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred
Good customer, interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in writing preferred
Organization and time-management skills preferred
Ability to type 60 words per minute (wpm) preferred
Basic math skills preferred
Attention to details preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality preferred
Ability to work in fast paced environment and to work on multiple projects at the same time preferred
Ability to work with others and in a team environment preferred
Being in a stationary position for extended periods of time (4 hours or more) preferred
Viewing computer screen for extended periods of time (4 hours or more) preferred
Keying frequently on a computer for 4 hours or more preferred
Detecting sounds by ear preferred
Close, distance and peripheral vision preferred
Lifting/moving items up to 75 pounds with equipment assistance preferred
Repetitive motions preferred
Patient care environment preferred
The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $20.63-$25.36 Per Hour preferred

About the role

The Patient Navigator manages a variety of front office functions and is key to smooth operation of a dynamic outpatient wound care center as well as performs general office duties to assist the staff of the WCC.
