✓Requirements
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required prior to performing patient observation.
Experience as a Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, EMT, Nurse Aide Training, or current Nursing/Psychology student are all preferred.
Education
✓High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
Qualifications
✓The ability to stay mobile according to the patients' movement including the ability to stand for periods of time.
✓Must be able to work in situations with isolation precautions.
Previous work experience in a hospital setting preferred.
