✓Requirements
Education
✓High school diploma or GED
Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field. preferred
Qualifications
✓At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare administrative or customer service role.
✓Proficiency in computer systems and data entry
✓Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
✓Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
✓Attention to detail and accuracy
✓Basic understanding of insurance and healthcare processes
✓Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
✓Customer service orientation
✓Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
✓Review an account for quality and confirmation and can demonstrate the ability to update all aspects of a patient account
✓Assist patients with the completion of Financial Assistance Forms, HCAP Application and Medicaid Applications (if applicable)
✓Demonstrate knowledge of all compliance or legally required registration forms, consents, literature and documents
✓Employee demonstrates consistent hand hygiene practices
Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and familiarity with medical terminology. preferred
Bilingual or multilingual abilities. preferred
