Full Time Evenings, 32 hours per week, 3-11:30p, rotating weekends and holidays. Job Summary and Qualifications As a Patient Safety Attendant, you will play a vital role in protecting patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. You will closely monitor their physical and emotional well-being and communicate, empowering the care team to respond quickly and helping care for and improve lives one moment at a time.
Your responsibilities will include: Watching patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being Identifying risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alerting the care team to intervene quickly and protect patients Documenting patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift Honoring patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times Collaborating closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Previous patient care experience preferred Benefits Parkland Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
