✓Thereafter, must maintain Current Basic Life Support (BLS), either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.

✓Patient Safety Companion I: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
✓Patient Safety Companion II: High School Diploma/Equivalent and ONE of the following requirements must be met.
✓Associate or Bachelor's degree
✓Active enrollment in a healthcare related field from an accredited institution

About the role

Serve as a Patient Safety Companion on the Float Team, supporting a variety of Adult and Pediatric patient care units across the downtown campus. In this role, you'll provide continuous one-on-one observation for patients who require close monitoring to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being while working alongside an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
