MaineHealth is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our dedicated IV Therapy team in Scarborough. This front-facing role is critical in supporting patients—many living with cancer or chronic illnesses—as they navigate their treatment journeys. As a PSS, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and families, delivering compassionate customer service while ensuring accurate scheduling, registration, and coordination of care.

Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and empathy Schedule and coordinate patient appointments with attention to clinical needs and continuity of care Verify insurance and collect co-pays or other payments Respond to patient inquiries, troubleshoot scheduling challenges, and advocate for patient needs Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system Collaborate closely with nurses, providers, and administrative team members

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package. The pay range for this position is $19.87 to $23.75 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
