Qualifications
✓Two (2) years of patient transportation experience in an institutional healthcare or equivalent setting (e.g., hospital or clinic).
✓Office practices and procedures, including filing systems
✓Patient identification protocols
✓Customer service principles and interpersonal skills
✓Computer systems and applications
✓Lead practices, principles, and techniques
✓Dispatching systems and equipment
✓Patient transport practices, procedures, and protocols, including scheduling and coordinating transports
✓Recordkeeping practices.
✓Organize work, set priorities, meet critical deadlines, and follow up on assignments
✓Schedule, assign, and review the work of others
✓Compose correspondence independently or from brief instructions
✓Organize and maintain accurate records and files
✓Adhere to standards, policies, and procedures of the hospital and follow safety guidelines for self, patient, visitors, and other employees, including Federal, State, TJC (The Joint Commission), OSHA, and CDC, and Universal Precautions and hazardous material guidelines
