✓High school diploma or equivalent required, one year of academic undergraduate work preferred.
✓A training program will be required to include transport procedures, use and operation of a utility cart, wheelchair, stretcher, bed, oxygen tank.
Qualifications
✓None required but preferably one year's experience in dealing with customer service.

About the role

The Patient Transporter performs under the direct supervision of the Central Transport Supervisor. The Patient Transporter is responsible for transporting all patients following hospital and departmental policies while maintaining awareness for opportunities to promote the WE CARE Philosophy. The Patient Transporter is ultimately accountable to the Operations Manager of Central Transportation.
