This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00 pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Assist customers with payment processing, invoice explanation, payment due dates and billing questions Maintain timely, accurate documentation for all appropriate transactions Post insurance and self-pay payments in accordance with explanation of benefits or self-pay statements Investigate payment posting related errors and correct as needed in accordance with explanation of benefits or other payer related documents As needed, work credits created by payment posting team to ensure timely processing of payments Maintain payment status and billing records through corrections and adjustments Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standard Assist with in-office Administrative/Clerical tasks as needed Other duties as assigned What makes this a special challenge?

High School Diploma or GED OR equivalent years of work experience Must be 18 years of age OR older 1+ years working in a medical/clinical billing setting Professional working knowledge of CPT & Diagnosis Coding, Medical Terminology, and basic Anatomy Experience with computers and Windows based programs including Microsoft Suite and other systems Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday. Experience with payment posting in healthcare Epic experience Telecommuting
Reside within commutable distance to the office at 7600 Evergreen Way, Everett, WA. Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service. *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.
