The Payment Posting Specialist is responsible for maintaining enterprise payments, accurately posting insurance and patient payments and adjustments, while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and federal/state regulations. This role focuses on payment posting tasks, interpreting Explanations of Benefits (EOBs), ensuring accurate documentation in EPIC and delivering excellent customer service. Level 1 specialists work under moderate supervision and handle standard transactions with limited complexity.
Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent is required Experience At least 1 year of customer service experience, medical finance, access or pre-service, financial counseling or payment posting experience is required, preferably in a hospital or clinic billing setting. Other
