Employment Duration: 4 months The Administrative Services Analyst administers defined operational programs and activities across areas that may include finance, facilities, payroll, space planning, student services, human resources, communications, information technology, and safety. The position analyzes financial and operational data, develops and maintains budgets, evaluates services, researches complex issues, supports supervisors and managers on human resources and compensation-related matters, and helps ensure compliance with applicable requirements and internal policies.

Evaluates current and proposed services and develops recommendations based on findings.
Serves as a resource for complex financial discrepancies, escalated customer service issues, and vendor concerns. Develops and maintains budgets. Participates in the development and revision of standard operating procedures and guidelines.
Provides guidance to supervisors and managers on developing
s, facilitating benefits communications, and interpreting compensation programs, personnel policies, and procedures. Conducts trend analyses and assists with developing recommendations based on identified trends. Assesses and recommends changes needed to maintain compliance with federal and state requirements and internal policies.
Maintains the flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. Responsibilities N/A Required
1+ years of related experience. Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns. Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff verbally and in writing.
Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask with demanding timeframes. Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs. Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
