Education
✓Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
✓5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity.
✓Hands-on experience processing payroll in Workday.
✓Experience with timekeeping/scheduling systems such as UKG (Kronos/UKG Dimensions) and integrating time data into payroll.
✓Working knowledge of payroll tax compliance and experience coordinating with a third-party tax service provider such as ADP.
✓Strong understanding of federal and multi-state payroll tax regulations and wage and hour law (FLSA).
✓Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
✓Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
✓Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll matters clearly to employees at all levels.
Prior payroll experience in a healthcare or other complex, multi-site organization. preferred
Experience supporting Workday releases, testing, or configuration related to payroll. preferred
