✓The Department of Inpatient Pediatrics at Denver Health Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Critical Care Physician to join our team in a part-time (0.5 FTE) faculty position within our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
✓MD-Physician - State Medical Board Required and
Certifications
✓ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association Required and
✓NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Program - AHA - American Heart Association Required and
✓PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association Required and
✓BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required
Education
✓Doctorate Degree Graduate of an accredited medical school Required
✓A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures and techniques.
✓Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment.
✓Able to effectively manage and direct medical staff support activities while providing quality medical care.
✓Able to receive detailed information through oral communications; express or exchange ideas by verbal communications.
✓Excellent written and verbal communications, listening, and social skills.
✓Able to interact effectively with people of varied educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, skill levels and value systems.
✓Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
✓Computer skills required.
