Licensure
✓Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
✓Must have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island.
Certifications
✓Responsible to the Clinical Manager, meets and maintains competence as defined by the clinical service experience and credential requirements, provides nursing care to patients.
✓Related experience and credentials where indicated.
Education
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Qualifications
✓Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.
✓Demonstrated competence in administration of chemotherapy and biotherapy with and understanding of COG protocols.
✓At least two years of experience in Pediatric Oncology, including the administration of chemotherapy and biotherapy, within the past five years is required.
✓Active Pediatric Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider required.
