✓NCCPA, Board Certification, national
✓National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) from an agency accredited by the American Board of Nursing Specialties (ABNS) (e.g. ANCC, AANP, PNCB).
Certifications
✓Obtains/Maintains current NCCPA certification
✓CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE - Required
✓Current NCCPA Certificate - 100 hours of continuing medical education must be logged every 2 years.
✓Infection Control Certificate must be current.
Education
✓Degree/Diploma Obtained and Program of Study
✓Bachelors Physician Assistant Studies
✓Masters Physician Assistant Studies
✓Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in nursing
✓Graduate of CAAHEP accredited Physician Assistant Training Program.
Masters Nursing, Doctorate preferred
Qualifications
✓Demonstrates commitment to professional growth & development in medical and nursing practice. academic training as nurse practitioner.
✓Title State
✓Recertification Examination must be taken every 6-10 years and passed successfully.
✓Current New York State registration.
✓Must have taken child abuse recognition course.
✓SKILLS – Required
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✓Strong customer service orientation.
