✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Current RN and APRN licensure with the Oregon Board of Nursing.
✓DEA Certification.
✓Current PA licensure with the Oregon Medical Board.
Certifications
✓Current national certification in the area of specialization.
✓Current BLS, ACLS or PALS Certification as indicated for the position
✓Current NCCPA Certification.
Education
✓Successful completion of a Master’s Degree in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing in a recognized APRN specialty (Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, or Nurse Practitioner)
✓Successful completion of a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant/Associate Studies from an accredited program.
✓Appropriate equivalent degree and certification.
Qualifications
✓Weekday inpatient and outpatient consults and scheduled clinic appointments; excludes nights, weekends, holidays, and call
✓Experience as an APP in complex medical or pediatric care.
✓Ability to manage a heavy workload with multiple priorities and inflexible deadlines
✓Ability to communicate effectively, verbally, and in writing
✓Proficient in the use of computing hardware and software, including personal computing equipment, electronic medical record, word processing, and spreadsheet software
✓Regular and consistent attendance at work
Prior experience in Pediatrics preferred.
