The manager is accountable for daily operations, planning, coordinating, and managing the activities of the professional, and support staff of the inpatient, the ambulatory and the non-sterile and sterile production divisions of the CHAM Pediatric pharmacy department. The individual manager is also responsible for reviewing staff time and attendance, adhering to pharmacy practice regulations, following-up on drug -related problems, conducting quality improvements reviews, training of professional and supportive staff and implementing administrative and clinical procedures and CHAM IV room 797 compliance.
Other activities include project management, Clinical rounding, budgeting, compliance with policies and procedures, accreditation requirements and regulations and medication safety. Education and
Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy is required, PharmD is preferred. Must have a valid NYS Pharmacist license and registration. Completion of a PGY 1/PGY2 in Pediatric, Critical Care, ER, Oncology is preferred.
