Licensure
✓Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
Certifications
✓ARRT, CVIS, CRT or CVT
✓Current BLS certification (or completed within the first 30 days), PALS and ACLS (maybe completed in first 6 months)
✓Registration/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Cath lab or Cardiovascular specialty certification preferred
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Sciences, RT or an accredited school for Cardiovascular Technology/CVT
✓Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
Qualifications
✓Experience: At least two years of modality specific experience.
✓Must have successfully complete the Imaging Specialist Clinical Ladder Program and be endorsed as a level III.
✓Must complete the revalidation process annually with work area leadership to remain as a level III.
✓Skill set: Fully competent in advanced modality skill sets and flexible to rotate.
✓Lift/carry 50 lbs. unassisted: Infrequent
✓Lift/lower 50 lbs. from floor to 36”: Infrequent
✓Lift up to 25 lbs. overhead: Infrequent
✓Exert up to 50 lbs. of force: Frequent
