Certifications
✓Completed Addiction Peer Recovery Coach training through the Indiana Counselors Association on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (ICAADA), or certification as a Certified Peer Support Professional through the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA), Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMH
✓Certification in Peer Recovery Services within six months of hire.
Education
✓High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Undergraduate degree in Behavioral Health or Addictions. preferred
Qualifications
✓Lived experience with substance use recovery and the ability to use that experience to support others.
✓Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
✓Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws.
✓Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team.
✓Willingness to commute to clinics in Paoli, Bloomfield, and Bedford.
✓Passion for supporting individuals on their recovery journey.
✓Energetic, outgoing, compassionate, and highly motivated.
At least one (1) year as a person in long-term recovery from substance use. preferred
Experience with academic institutions and academic medical centers. preferred
