Evaluate, plan, and provide occupational therapy treatment programs for pediatric patients whose injury, disease, or loss of body part interferes with daily functioning. Provide skilled intervention using a variety of techniques that are appropriate to achieve identified goals. In this role, you will cover pediatric orthopedics, neuro, trauma, ICU, and general medicine/surgery floors, with the potential to treat outpatients. The shift for this per diem position is 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., with schedules for both weekdays and weekends, with the possibility of holiday coverage. Minimum of 2 days (15 hours) per month, and 1 weekend shift per quarter. Preferred Crite ria 2 years of pediatrics experience in hospital-based inpatient OT and outpatient settings Master’s Degree National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification AOTA Membership. Required Criteria Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. New York State Occupational Therapy License. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
