Operates extracorporeal circulation equipment during any medical situation where it is necessary to support or replace the patient's cardiopulmonary/circulatory function and ensures the proper management of physiologic functions by monitoring the necessary variables. Prepares and administers blood products and prescription solutions through bypass circuitry. Regularly participates in the on call schedule Schedule FTE: 1.0 Shift hours: Variable Days of week: Monday-Friday Position requires on-call coverage Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelors of Science in Perfusion, other Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree required Must obtain ABCP certification within 1 year of hire date Experience as a Perfusionist, in a student capacity or independent practitioner Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose
