You are a trusted clinical partner in the operating room—ensuring patients are safely supported during cardiac and thoracic surgeries. What You’ll Experience at Mercy Strong Team Culture: Work alongside experienced surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams who value collaboration and respect each role’s expertise Mission-Driven Care: Every case is grounded in Mercy’s commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care Supportive Environment: Leadership is engaged, approachable, and invested in your success Advanced Clinical Practice: Participation in complex cardiac cases and evolving technologies Stability + Growth: A well-established cardiac program with opportunities for continued learning and development Key Responsibilities Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass (heart-lung) equipment during surgical procedures Monitor and maintain patient physiological status (blood flow, oxygenation, anticoagulation, temperature) Partner closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Support ECMO and other circulatory support systems as needed Participate in patient care planning and intraoperative decision-making Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement Why Mercy?
