Perioperative Technician | Flagler Hospital OR & Sterile Processing | Full-Time | Variable

Responsibilities In this role the Perioperative Technician will perform the following duties: Clean and maintain the Operating rooms as well as all equipment Secure supplies for OR team, and restock rooms.

Positioning, transferring and transporting patients within the various areas within Perioperative Services. Schedule FTE 1.0 Days: Variable Hours: Variable Location: Saint Augustine, FL Qualifications Education Required: High School Diploma or GED Licensure/Certifications Required: BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days from the date of hire. Preferred: CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), PCA (Patient Care Assistant), or MA (Medical Assistant) Experience Required: Less than one (1) year of patient care (i.e. nursing assistant/surgical tech/ MA), Supply chain, Operating Room or relevant medical equipment experience Preferred : 3-5 years patient care, Supply Chain, OR, or relevant medical equipment experience Necessary Skills Customer Service skills.

Must possess manual dexterity, computer skills, and be able to work under pressure. Effective oral and written communication skills. Must be able to read, spell and do simple math, write clearly and understand written and oral instructions.

Need to have effective computer skills, including typing, and use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) Demonstrates teamwork and communicates in a professional manner with all members of the healthcare team Demonstrates a willingness to learn new methods, procedures and techniques resulting from departmental or organization change. Adapts quickly and easily to change and adjusted behavior and approach to work when necessary to achieve goals.
