Monday through Wednesday 7:30 to 4 at various locations Tampa Zephyrs and Wesley ChapelOperates radiation detection and measurement equipment to capture and record visual representations of radionuclide concentrations in specific body areas. Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients as directed by a radiologist. Reviews patient requisitions and charts with the radiologist before starting exams.

Explains the nature of tests to patients to ensure compliance and understanding. Monitors contaminated articles and bed linens using a Geiger counter to prevent the spread of radioactivity. Keeps detailed records of tests conducted, test results, and the usage and disposition of radionuclides and body products containing them.

Attends in-services and maintains continuing education requirements. Participates in the "Float" pool to assist other areas when not busy. Provides patient transportation when needed.
