Pharmacist (81337)

Provides care of patients by optimizing medication use, clinical monitoring, and drug distribution services. Compounds and dispenses medications using medication orders authorized by a legally authorized prescriber. Instructs patients as necessary on medications including drug interaction.

Reviews patient medication history for allergies, drug interactions, duplicate therapies, and safety. Supervises and directs pharmacy technicians and other support personnel. Reports to the Director of Pharmacy.
