✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License or within 60 days of hire.
Certifications
✓American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required .
Education
✓Bachelor's in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy required .
Qualifications
✓In this daytime position, you serve as a clinical pharmacy resource for the hospital , working independently while supporting a multidisciplinary care team.
✓The pace is dynamic and unpredictable, requiring strong prioritization, clinical judgment, and adaptability as you move between verification workflows and bedside emergencies.
✓Lead hospital-wide medication order verification in Epic , ensuring accuracy and safety across all inpatient units
✓Respond to codes and emergency situations at the bedside , delivering immediate pharmacotherapeutic expertise
✓Provide real-time clinical consultation to nursing staff and providers across a wide range of specialties
✓Function as the a primary clinical pharmacist , managing competing priorities and high-acuity cases
✓No experience required . PGY-1 residency or equivalent clinical experience preferred.
