Other advanced degrees (e.g., Master’s, Ph.D.) and applicable Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) or other certification applicable to the position as determined by the supervisor preferred.
Certifications
Completion of pharmacy residency and specialization (e.g., PGY-2 and respective BPS certification), if applicable, preferred.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
✓Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent experience.
Qualifications
✓Equivalent experience includes at least two years of relevant pharmacy practice experience.
✓Commitment to excellence, accuracy, attention to detail and teamwork required.
✓Ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively with others, organizes time well, practice with an agile mindset, solve problems, and work independently with minimal supervision required.

About the role

Position description: The oncology/hematology infusion pharmacist is responsible for drug distribution, drug therapy monitoring, patient education, chemotherapy order processing, product verification, precepting learners/residents, participating in research projects, leading and participating in quality improvement initiatives, and providing integrated care and medication therapy management services to patients receiving treatment.
