About the role

The Pharmacist reviews all medication orders received from Physicians and Physician Extenders and dispenses medications after assuring that drug, dose, frequency, and route of administration are appropriate. Reviews patient allergies, past medical history, drug interactions and lab information for any potential clinical conflicts prior to dispensing medications. Responsible for inventory control.
