✓This position requires a licensed pharmacist who will optimize medication therapy outcomes while controlling costs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing clinical oversight of pharmaceutical services for plan members.
✓Current Oklahoma Pharmacy License as a Registered Pharmacist.
✓Must maintain licensure and meet continuing education requirements
Current Oklahoma Pharmacy Preceptor License preferred
Board certification (BCPS, BCACP, or related specialty) preferred
Education
✓Must be a graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education.
Completed a residency program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) preferred
MBA or health administration degree preferred
Qualifications
✓Familiarity with ERISA, HIPAA, and healthcare regulatory requirements
Knowledgeable in the specialized functions of retail pharmacies preferred
Strong drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and medication management preferred
Understanding of pharmacy benefit design and management principles preferred
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret pharmacy claims data preferred
Knowledge of pharmacy reimbursement methodologies (AWP, MAC, WAC, etc.) preferred
Prior retail experience preferred
Prior authorization or utilization management experience preferred
Experience with formulary development and management preferred
