Full-Time | Evening Shift 11:30am-11:00pm, 7-on/7-off, Wed.-Thurs. How you’ll make an impact in this role Ensure Patient Safety: Review medication orders to catch and prevent drug-related issues, making sure patients receive the correct medication, dosage, and administration. Manage Pharmacy Operations: Supervise technicians to maintain an accurate and efficient workflow for preparing, storing, and dispensing medications.
Control Costs: Recommend less expensive, but equally effective, formulary alternatives to help the hospital manage medication expenses. Educate and Inform: Serve as the go-to expert for drug information and provide education to both medical staff and patients, sometimes mentoring pharmacy students. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration Required Credential(s): Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required. Master's degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy preferred.
