Responsibilities West Henderson Hospital is our seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It is located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters.
The 150-bed hospital is equipped to care for patients with a variety of medical needs. Services available include emergency care, cardiac care, neurology care, surgery, gastroenterology and inpatient care for medical needs such as pneumonia. The Clinical Manager is responsible for coordinating clinical pharmacy services and ensuring that the pharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis. The Clinical Manager facilitates the development, implementation, and mantenance of system. Qualifications
FULL TIME DAYS
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm)
Minimum of three years (3) required in a clinical position. Eight to ten years preferred. Prior experience as a clinical pharmacist required.
Technical
Thorough knowledge of pharmacy operations. Software skills using MS office, proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel, some knowledge of MS Access. Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic) License/Certification: Curren license as Pharmacist in the State of Nevada.
