Licensure
✓The Pharmacy Technician is a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician or Technician in Training licensed by the Montana Board of Pharmacy.
✓Acquire Montana License for Tech in Training within 30-days of hire
Certifications
✓In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must maintain timely completion of all required education, trainings, and certifications as assigned and in accordance with Bozeman Health policies, department-specific requirements, applicable certification program
National Certification as Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) upon hire OR ability to become certified within one year of obtaining a Technician in Training license preferred
Education

✓At least 18 years of age
✓Demonstrate sound judgment, patience, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
✓Exercise tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintains confidentiality
✓Learn current and new computer applications and office equipment utilized at Bozeman Health
✓Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
✓Analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
✓Demonstrate the Bozeman Health SPIRIT values of: Service, People, Integrity, Respect, Improvement, and Teamwork.
One (1) year of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred

About the role

The Pharmacy Technician supports the outpatient pharmacies and/or Pharmacist-Led Centralized Prescription Refill Service to provide patients with safe and prompt pharmaceutical care. The Pharmacy Technician is a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician or Technician in Training licensed by the Montana Board of Pharmacy. Pharmacy Technicians are trained and competent in all outpatient duties.
