Performs environmental services at a hospital to ensure clean, safe, orderly, and attractive conditions of establishment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

- Assists Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medications
- Replenishes and exchanges medication carts/crash carts/medication boxes
- Prepares additives for IV solutions for Pharmacists to check
- Checks inventories and supplies for outdates
- Receives and stores incoming supplies/counts stock
- Prepares prescribed medications for Pharmacist to check
- Picks up orders from Med/Surg
- Runs Cart Fill List
- Fills orders from U.D. labels and fill list correctly
- Issues credits for unused meds
- Confirms cart fill
- Runs day end
- Prepares IV medications according to current standards
- Cleans and documents hood cleaning appropriately.
- Prints Pick Sheets for Medselects
- Prepares medications for and fills Medselect machines correctly.
- Assists Pharmacist with Medselect access for hospital staff
- Enters charges for medications from charge sheets Requirements Ohio Pharmacy Tech License Required Experience Preferred
