Role Overview As a Pharmacy Technician in our Home Infusion Pharmacy, you will prepare pharmacy orders, including sterile compounding, under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. You¿ll assist with patient care coordination, clinical monitoring, and documentation, ensuring seamless support for patients receiving home infusion therapies. Your role is critical in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency in medication delivery.
Prepare pharmacy orders, including filling and sterile compounding, following physician prescriptions and USP 797 standards. Assist pharmacists with patient care coordination, clinical monitoring, and documentation. Support inventory management, stocking, and storage of supplies.
Maintain environmental controls and collect compliance data. Interact and communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Qualifications Required Qualifications High school diploma or G. E. D. equivalent.
Minimum of six (6) months of hospital or home infusion pharmacy experience with emphasis on compounding/aseptic technique. State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.
