The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: The IV Pharmacy Technician assists in the provision of pharmaceutical services under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist by performing the technical, clerical and manipulative tasks involving mixing sterile products in a clean room environment, dispensing, preparing, and distributing all medications and pharmaceutical products for all patient age groups (including geriatrics, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal).
They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment with strong multitasking skills. Work and/or performance shall conform to written established policies and procedures.
Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred: IV Certified pharmacy technician preferred. One year of IV pharmacy experience preferred.
Certifications and Licenses Required: New Jersey Pharmacy Technician Registration or obtained within six months of start date as a Pharmacy Technician. Scheduling
