✓Upon Hire: Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee upon hire -OR- Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician License
Certifications
✓1 or more years (> 2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification - OR - 2 or more years (>4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified
Specialty certification (e.g., ACPE approved sterile compounding certification) where applicable by role and state preferred
Education
✓H.S. Diploma -OR- GED Equivalency
Coursework/Training: Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Program preferred
Qualifications
Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR) preferred

About the role

The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner.
