We are actively looking for caring individuals to join the team as a Pharmacy Technician-Medication History. As a RWMC Pharmacy Technician-Medication History, you will: Maintain a good working knowledge of common outpatient medication names, doses, and dosage forms.
Prioritize patients to interview with respect to physician request, pharmacist request, nurse request, or acuity of need. Adapt to changes in workload and schedule to meet patient needs. Obtain accurate home medication history by chart review, patient interview, and phone calls to retail pharmacies and physician offices if necessary.
Verify patient allergy information and ensures complete documentation with regard to substance, allergy category, reaction description. You may be a good fit if you: Have a High School Diploma or equivalent Have no drug related felony or misdemeanors Are a Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPhT) You will be asked to register with the State of Nebraska as a Pharmacy Technician prior to your start date.
