Responsible for assisting pharmacy leadership in day-to-day supervision and managing the operations of technician personnel and pharmacy systems. Supports the continual site operations for the pharmacy department in a supervisory capacity to achieve departmental goals and objectives and ensures regulatory compliance. This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $5K, contingent upon the applicant's qualifications and subject to certain eligibility requirements.

Monitors quality and assurance processes and ensures compliance and adherence to established programs, regulations, policies and procedures, and applicable institutional licensure. Supervises, trains, directs and serves as an internal resource for Pharmacy Technicians to support department operations and goals. Provides feedback to the team regarding daily assignments and responsibilities to ensure work is being followed up accordingly.
Assists pharmacy leadership in department project management including the identification, implementation, and on-going monitoring and maintenance. Performs all Pharmacy Technician roles and functions including coverage including, but not limited to: inventory procurement management, auditing, and pharmacy automation systems. Supervises the professional growth and development of Pharmacy Technicians by managing the quality of training and services performed by technician personnel.
Acts as a department leader to support personnel engagement and subsequent development of department action plan. Acts as a liaison to the Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Responsible for the intra- and interdisciplinary day-to-day management and auditing of operational pharmacy processes.
Responsible for providing pharmacy leadership with end-of-month operational metric summary. Contributes to departmental fiscal planning, cost-reduction and containment, and revenue recovery. Serves as a role-model and provides mentorship and coaching to technician personnel.
Involvement in the recruitment and hiring process. Assists pharmacy leadership with time and attendance, scheduling, performance evaluations, and development of corrective actions for technician personnel. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues.
