✓Requirements
Licensure
✓For initial licensure, must show proof of passing a board-approved national standardized Pharmacy Technician Certification exam.
Certifications
✓Upon Hire Certified Pharmacy Tech - Washington or Upon Hire Pharmacy Technician – Oregon or within 60 Days Certified Pharmacy Tech - Alaska
Education
✓Graduation from, or completion of, a Pharmacy Commission-approved technician training program.
High School Diploma Preferred: or equivalent
Qualifications
✓Demonstrated customer service skills
✓Proficient computer and keyboarding skills including MS Office applications (Required)
✓Good mathematical and analytical skills (Required)
✓Strong customer service skills including excellent communication skills (Required)
✓Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize workflow in a dynamic and sometimes chaotic environment (Required)
✓Ability to take suggestions, corrections and directions from the pharmacists (Required)
Experience in hospital pharmacy utilizing unit dose, IV admixtures, and pharmacy computer systems. Retail pharmacy experience considered and preferred
