Qualifications
✓Three to six months related experience and/or training
✓Six months comparable hospital experience.
✓Understands the importance of positive patient specimen identification.
✓Tact and diplomacy required for interaction with people under stressful conditions.
✓Ability to read and interpret documents such as service goal requirements , safety rules, computer logs, and procedure manuals.
✓Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees.
✓Ability to add, subtract, multiply , and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers , common fractions, and decimals.
✓Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
✓Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
✓Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
