Education
✓HS Diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Program.
Qualifications
✓The skill to draw an average of 7 patients per hour within the first 90 days of employment.
✓Proficient in the use of Laboratory Information System within the first 90 days of employment.
✓Must be able to withstand the stress and demands of an active position.
✓Must be able to withstand constant standing, walking, stooping and bending.
✓Must be able to respond calmly and efficiently in crisis situations.
✓Must be able to work as a team member and interact positively with others.
✓Must be able to work at optimum speed with accuracy and efficiency.
✓Must be able to take directions and respond quickly and efficiently.
✓Moderate lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.
✓Position includes moderate chemical exposure.
✓Maintain strict confidentiality of work-related information.
✓Sensitive touch for locating veins, manual dexterity and coordination required for drawing blood.
