Licensure
✓Current or eligible Louisiana Medical License through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
✓Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
✓Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
✓Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, if applicable.
Education
✓Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
✓Completion of an accredited Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency Program.
Qualifications
✓Successful completion of residency training required.
✓Fellowship training in Pain Management, Sports Medicine, Brain Injury Medicine, Spinal Cord Injury Medicine, or Neurorehabilitation is preferred but not required.
✓Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
✓Working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding, and clinical documentation requirements.
✓Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and healthcare technology.
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✓Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
✓Commitment to patient-centered care, safety, quality improvement, and clinical excellence.
