The work involves assessing, planning, and providing therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' abilities to perform daily activities and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
These roles are responsible for improving patient mobility, strength, and function through exercise, manual therapy, and education. Physical therapists work with patients recovering from injuries or surgeries, those with chronic conditions, or those seeking to enhance physical performance and reduce pain. Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
1 year relevant experience
Licensed to practice in Physical Therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping/traveling.
Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 – 50lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay rate for this role is $55.00 hourly.
